Trip to the Mansion House

2 North and 2 West recently visited the Mansion House in Dublin city centre. We travelled on Dublin bus and when we arrived we were led to the main hall where the crests of all the previous mayors were hanging up on the wall. When Councillor Andrew Montague arrived he spoke to us about his job and his roots. He is a past pupil of St Aidan’s. We then got the opportunity to ask him questions. He answered all our questions and spoke about his plans to provide more bikes in Santry and Ballymun like he has done in town. Overall, it was a very good experience. I think we learned a lot in the time that we were there and it proved to be a very enjoyable day.
