There is no doubt that walking is good for the soul and on a bright beautiful sunny morning in early September all the Sixth Years, their tutors and year head, headed off walking from Sutton to the hill of Howth. The quiet sound of chatter and laughter was a great to hear and the freedom to be walking together following the restrictions and all the adventures the boys had missed out on due to Covid restrictions.

We arrived in Howth village around 2.30pm where some students were brave enough to take a dip while more opted to grab lunch and relax for an hour or so, checking out the village of Howth. It was a wonderful relaxing day and hopefully for the students has created some memorable memories for the year ahead. They say you forget the gift but you never forget the experience and we hope this is true for our Sixth Year group.
