Student Council

Student Council

The St. Aidan’s Student Council is a representative structure through which our students can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students.

Our Council meets on a weekly basis to discuss issues relevant to the students, and meet with school management to ensure their voices are heard and opinions and ideas are taken on board.

They also organise and help do-ordinate events that celebrate and support students and charitable causes. Some notable events are International Day, Stand Up Week, Road Safety Awareness and our Halloween Activities.

The 1st years were taken on a school trip to Emerald Park on a day when there was glorious sunshine as a reward for all their hard work during the year. The following is written by Darragh from 1st year after enjoying the trip so much.
